Hi, my name is Andra, I am a female engineer with strong inclinations towards artistic expressions. I’ve been passionate about food since I was a child and I always tried to get as much information from my parents, aunts, family friends on how food is prepared. I baked, entirely by myself, my first rudimental cake when I was 8 years old and I was so proud of it. I was so hooked.
I’ve been exploring food for more than 30 years now and I never get tired. I even worked briefly in my youth in 2 restaurants and I did learn a lot from that experience. The learning never stops, you find new flavors, new ways of preparing food, more efficient ways to do it. And the best thing for me is the sharing of it, sharing the food with friends and family and sharing the knowledge I have and inspire others to take control of their nourishment and get excited about it along the way.
I invite you to be curious and try out new things and ask questions. The more you know, the less scary cooking gets and the more you can enjoy the process and start improvising with what you have at hand.
